About us

Look towards a better and eco-friendly society, hopefully by our core products associated with ceramics technology. We would like to win the market's trust and be the employee who can have a sense of pride and satisfaction.

For more than 90 years, we have been faithfully engaged in the ceramics and refractory business by being conscious of the quality and material itself.
In 2002, AGC Ceramics Co., Ltd was established as a spin-off from Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. That is to say we have remained a young mind in the time-honored company.
We have evolved in parallel with the glass industry by supplying its basic material. It led us inevitably to the only company in Japan who could obtain all four key materials and technologies, i.e. "Fused cast refractory" "Bonded refractory" "Monolithic refractory" and "Fine ceramics". Now, we are aspiring to contribute to the market of "Glass engineering" and "Environment & Energy". We define our principle in order to earn customer's trust by three key words of "Quality", "Sincerity", and "Pride" and always conduct ourselves by those concepts.

The company has excellent strategic deploy, open-mind and lively worksite.

AGC Ceramics Co., Ltd is implementing its business strategies in the various industries, to let the each customer accept that it is the best one in the industry.
Since we consider that product development, by combining all employee's wisdom, is one of the most important stage, we will keep concentrating management resources on the research and development sector.
In addition, we will maintain the advantage of youth and place importance on open-minded and lively discussion at the worksite.
