Whenever AGC Ceramics collects any Personal Information, AGC Ceramics will specify the purpose
of its use, and will collect the information through fair and legal means.

AGC Ceramics will use the Personal Information for the business purpose that it has
indicated when collecting it. If AGC Ceramics wishes to use the Personal Information beyond
the original purpose that it has indicated, AGC Ceramics shall obtain an approval from
the individual to whom such Personal Information relates ("Owner"), except as
allowed by relevant laws and regulations.

When handling Personal Information, AGC Ceramics will appoint a privacy officer who
will be responsible for the protection of Personal Information within AGC Ceramics, and
will strive to manage Personal Information to prevent illegal access, loss, falsification
or disclosure.

Unless otherwise authorized by the Owner or allowed by relevant laws and regulations,
AGC Ceramics will not provide Personal Information to any third party. When such Personal
Information is provided to a third party, AGC Ceramics will execute an agreement with
the third party or take any other measures that obligates the third party to be
responsible for the management of the Personal Information provided, thereby preventing
its disclosure to any other party or other misuse.

AGC Ceramics will promptly respond to requests to disclose, correct, add and/or delete
Personal Information from the Owner, to the commercially reasonable extent.

AGC Ceramics will comply with relevant laws and regulations with regard to the protection
of Personal Information. AGC Ceramics will also constantly review its implementation of
the Policy and make further improvements.

AGC Ceramics will inform all of its directors, officers and employees (including part-time
and temporary staffs) as well as other parties concerned of this Policy to ensure
that each understands the importance of the Policy and conducts him or herself
in an appropriate manner to maintain it. |
