Roiceram-C is pressure-less sintered dense silicon carbide
and re-crystallized silicon carbide with various characteristics, created and
strengthened with the development of our original materials. It has high strength,
hardness, and stiffness and has high-thermal conductivity, low-thermal expansion,
and chemical resistance. |

| Pressureless sintered dense
silicon carbide |
-A top-level erosion resistance
material. Doesn't change even in extreme temperatures. -
AGC Ceramics distributes ceramics with excellent resistance to corrosion and erosion:
developed using their skills in high-temperature materials fields fostered over
many years. One type of fine ceramics is Roiceram-C. This product is a dense sintered-processed
material known for its superiority in high strength, stiffness, hardness, and
oxidation resistance and chemicalresistance. Roiceram-C is used in many fields
e.g. as heat resistant materials because of its high strength at high temperatures
exceeding the metallic materials and as electric related and erosion resistant
parts because it exhibits higher strength, stiffness and hardness and lower density
and thermal expansion compared to alumina, a most popular fine ceramic. We have
prepared two types of Roiceram-C, Roiceram-C400 and Roiceram-C600. The difference
in strength distinguishes these two grades. |
| Re-crystallized silicon carbide |
| Roiceram-SC is consists of silicon
carbide and metallic silicon. It is a dense material having excellent properties
such as high heat conductivity at high temperatures. Roiceram-SC-R is a porous
material made up only of silicon carbide. It also shows superior properties at
high temperatures, and contributes to the weight reduction of products. |
