Rheo-flow (RF)
AGC Ceramics's self-flow castable, the Rheo-flow (RF) Series is a low-cement type self-flow castable with high strength and density. Although conventional low-cement castables were installed by vibration casting using vibrators Rheo-flow optimally controls the rheology properties of super-fine powder, resulting in a vibration-free installation. It also has a self-flow mechanism and is therefore applicable to varied part shapes. This feature has also allowed it to be pumped longer distances and to higher work places using a special pressure pump, resulting in a considerable reduction in construction process and time.

Characteristics
- It is installed by a self-flow method, therefore does not require a vibrator.
- Using a special pump, it can be pumped to long distances.
- Extremely low porosity and permeability, while high in strength, abrasion resistance and hot strength. It has the comparable properties as a vibrating method type (compared to AGC Ceramics's Ramcrete).
- Products range from high alumina type, alumina type, Drysic type and acid-and-water resistant type.

Gunning Rheo-flow (GRF)
Gunning Rheo-flow is a wet method using AGC Ceramics's Asahi Gunning Rheo-flow (AGRF) method. AGC Ceramics created AGRF technology by combining Rheo-flow's self-flow and front-edge quick-setting technologies. AGC Ceramics holds industrial property to this product.
Low-cement self-flow type materials are completely kneaded, pumped and gunned, therefore, quality is equivalent to that of the conventional low-cement castables.

Characteristics
- Gunning method results in an equivalent performance to that of low-cement castables.
- Extremely low porosity and permeability, while high in strength, abrasion resistance and heat strength.
- Casting method required several procedures because of molds, but AGRF method does not require molds and can significantly reduce construction time.
- Significant reduction in powder dust compared to dry and semi-dry methods.
- Pumping distance reaches 40m vertically for standard types, reaching a maximum of 70m, allowing application for large-scale plant constructions.
- Construction speed is at maximum 2 - 4t/H, making it possible for large-scale constructions with short deadlines, while its pumping parts and tip nozzle are very light, weighing 2 - 1-3/4B.
- Products range from high alumina type, alumina type, Drysic type, acid-and-water resistant type, light insulation type and very-light insulation type.
