| Asahi caster |

| Asahi caster is a castable refractory composed
of carefully selected aggregates, and an alumina cement successfully developed
by AGC Ceramics. Just add water to Asahi caster and knead it to achieve casting and/or
easy trowelling according to its use, and obtain both strength and heat resistance
at the same time. We have a variety of types for use in high-temperature kilns,
special kilns and general-purpose kilns. |

It is joint-free and low permeability
to prevent gas leakage and entry of surrounding air. |

Easy to shape. Exact size is obtainable
as it is virtually shrink-proof. |

Its strength does not deteriorate under

Lower thermal conductivity than general refractory

Combining it with reinforcing materials,

bricks, and so it can increase furnace life. |

| Asahi caster for gunning |

| Asahi caster for gunning has low rebound loss
due to its appropriate composition of fine particle control and special binders.
It has excellent adherence, most suitable for newly built kilns of all types and
repairing of existing kilns. |

|
With increased application of castable refractories
and increased volume, demand for efficiency and labor-saving in construction methods
have resulted in the adoption of high-pressure pumping systems for the construction
of castables.
