| High alumina raw materials are completely
melted at high temperature and poured into an appropriate mold to produce this
Alumina-mullite fused cast refractory. Matrix glass is filled in the gaps of intertwining
crystals of corumdum (Al2O3) and mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO2),
creating a very hard and dense structure. It is, therefore, highly resistant to
corrosion and erosion. It shows high performance on reheating furnaces' beds,
skid rails, and for the linings of industrial waste incinerators. |
